One of the phrases that we hear the most that we dedicate ourselves to this world of technology is “I do not want to pay more than 200 euros” . Is a Price range a bit complicated because it comes to mean two things: that the device will not have too much power or that its design will not be anything of the other world. While it is true that there are several options, one of those that must be taken into account and the ones that stand out the most are the Alcatel range 3.
We met the Alcatel 3 Series in Mobile World Congress 2018 , and the truth is that we were impressed to see that such cheap devices could offer so much. Range 3 consists of several terminals, of which not one alone exceeds 200 euros in price . If you are looking for something affordable without sacrificing specifications or design, we advise you to keep reading, because we are going to present the three that, in our eyes, are more interesting: Alcatel 3, 3X and 3V.
Before starting, it should be noted that all the models we are going to talk about have wide screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, fingerprint sensor on the back (which you can press to take selfies) and facial unlocking . This is achieved thanks to the rear camera, which analyzes 106 points on the user’s face to unlock the terminal. Having said that, we started.
We start with the “pequeñín”, although as a toddler he has nothing. The Alcatel 3 has a 5.5-inch IPS screen 18: 9 with HD + resolution (1,440 x 720 pixels), which occupies 77.5% of the front. If we move to the back, which has a bright finish with OPVM processing, we will find the fingerprint reader and the main camera. This is from 16 megapixels f / 2.0 with 1.12 μm pixels , while the camera for selfies is eight megapixels with a wide angle of 84º.
Under the hood we will find 2 GB of RAM and a quad-core MT6739 processor at 1.28 GHz , all accompanied by 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with microSD cards up to 128 GB. All powered by 3,000 mAh battery and Android Oreo. Its price is 149 euros , although it has a Lite version (Alcatel 3L, without fingerprint reader) for 129 euros. You can get them from here:
We continue with the family medium, the Alcatel 3X . This terminal has a 5.7-inch Fullview IPS screen, also with 18: 9 aspect ratio, with 2.5D curved glass and HD + resolution (1,440 x 720 pixels), which occupies 77.65% of the front. The back, in matt finish, houses the fingerprint sensor and the camera with double lens. This is composed by two 13 + 5 megapixel sensors , interpolated to 16 + 8 megapixels, of which the second serves as a wide-angle (120º). It also has double tone flash.
The front camera is five megapixels.
As far as components are concerned, in the Alcatel 3X we find 3 GB of RAM and processor MT6738 quad-core A5 at 1.28 GHz . We also have a 32GB internal storage chip, expandable with microSD cards. All this moves thanks to the 3,000 mAh battery and Android Oreo . It can be yours by yourself 179 euros.
We came to the end of this little compilation with the top of the range of the Series 3, the Alcatel 3V . This model offers an incredible IPS screen 2.5D Fullview six-inch 18: 9 with 2K resolution (2.160 x 1080). In the upper area we have the camera for selfies, which amounts to eight megapixels. As in the 3X, in the back we find a 16 + 2 megapixel dual lens camera that will allow us to take out best portraits with unfocused background .
The camera allows you to see live how the background will be, adjust the blur and refocus once the photo has been taken.
Its technical sheet is composed of 2 GB of RAM, quad-core MT8735 processor A53 at 1.45 GHz , 16 GB of expandable internal storage, 3,000 mAh of battery and, of course, Android Oreo as an operating system. And how much is this terminal worth? Exactly the same as his middle brother: 179 euros . You have it down here.
As you can see, it is not necessary to pay more for having a terminal that works well and has a design of the most current. Any of these three phones will serve you well, And for less than 200 euros!
