SALT LAKE CITY – A crossing in Salt Lake City turns off in all directions following a crash that left two people in serious condition.
According to Lt. Bret Hatch with Salt Lake City Police, the police tried a traffic jam on a vehicle at 350 North and 1
100 West in Salt Lake City shortly after 6 pm Thursday. The driver fled and officers did not go.
The driver only gets three blocks before he crashes into another vehicle head. Two people, one man and one woman, were transported to nearby hospitals with serious injuries.
There were two people in the vehicle that caused the crash. One of them fled by foot and is still big. The driver, a 16-year-old man, was taken in custody. He did not have any damage.
Hatch said the suspected police are still looking for male, but had no other details at that time. The reason for the crash, or why the pilot fled the police, is still under investigation.
