Cher Show The new music of the award-winning entertainer and pop culture icon is open for official opening on December 3 at the Neil Simon Theater after preview shows on November 1st.

Tony Award nominee Stephanie J. Block ( Falsettos, Wicked ), Teal Wicks (19459003) Wicked, Finding Neverland ) and Micaela Diamond ( Jesus Christ Superstar Live ) plays various incarnations of Cher in the show containing a book by Tony Award-winning Jersey Boys bookwriter Rick Elice. &#8221

Directed by Jason Moore ( Avenue Q, Pitch Perfect ), Cher Show presents costumes by designer Bob Mackie who has worked with Cher over the years .

The cast also includes Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector ( Beautiful, Jersey Boys ) as Sonny Bono, Tony Award nominee Michael Berresse ( Kiss Me, Kate ; A Chorus Line ) as Bob Mackie, Michael Campayno ( Wicked ) as Rob Camilletti, Matthew Hydzik West Side Story, Pageview ) as Gregg Allman, Tony Award nominated Emily Skinner ( Prince of Broadway, Sido Show ) as Georgia Holt and Dee Roscioli ( Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof ) as Standby for Star and Lady.

The cast is finished by Marija Abney, Carleigh Bettiol, Taurean Everett, Michael Fatica, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Michael Graceffa, Blaine Alden Krauss, Sam Lips, Tiana Okoye, Amy Quanbeck, Angel Reda, Jennifer Rias, Michael Tacconi, Tory Trowbridge , Christopher Vo, Alena Watters, Charlie Williams and Ryan Worsing.

The music has choreography of Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli ( Newsies ); music surveillance, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Daryl Waters ( Memphis ); music direction by Andrew Resnick and dance music arrangements by Zane Mark and Daryl Waters. Round out the creative team is the nine-hour award-winning costume designer Bob Mackie, Tony Award winning set designer Christine Jones ( Harry Potter and the Forbidden Child, American Idiot ), putting designer Brett J. Banakis, Tony Award- winning lighting designer Kevin Adams ( Hedwig and Angry Inch, American Idiot ), Tony Award-nominated sound designer Nevin Steinberg ( Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen ), video and projection designer Darrel Maloney, hair and wig designer Charles G.
