“Weekend Update” also spoofed an allegedly documented video tweeted by the press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders of the incident.
Saturday Night Live parodied the latest event between a white house press and CNN’s white house correspondent Jim Acosta on November 10, the edition of “Weekend Update.”
White House interrupted Acosta’s press releases for which press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders considered “absolutely unacceptable” behavior in a statement. Following an interaction with the press internally, who tried to take the microphone out of Acosta’s hand during a press conference, an allegedly changed video was tweeted by Sanders.
During Weekend Update, Cecily Strong acted as the press internally to aggressively attempt to remove a microphone from desktop co-host Colin Jost.
“My boss said you can not get to the White House anymore,” she said at one point. When Jost asked why she responded because he had hit her.
Strongly then demanded to roll the band of the event and a heavily edited clip played by her previous interaction with Jost, which included a cartoon hit effect and a cut to over -The best cut of people who fall.
“My boss tweeted it, so that’s right,” Strongly said, as a trainee.
