At about 7 p.m. Arrowhead Time on a quiet Thursday night, ESPN Adam Schefter broke news that Kansas City Chiefs had struck a year’s agreement with the freelance broad recipient Kelvin Benjamin. Benjamin started his career with the Carolina Panthers but was traded for Buffalo Bill’s last season. The bills cut Benjamin earlier this week.
The speculation began when Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest thought he discovered Benjamin at Chiefs’ practice facility on Thursday afternoon …
It was later confirmed that Derrick was right, via schefter. Then this unconfirmed report came through saying that Benjamin stopped at a Kansas City staple on his tour.
After the signature was official again, via Schefter there were quick reactions .. .
